The Legislative delegation of Forsyth has successfully passed HB 717. This bill aims to address the issue of increasing property taxes for residents. Vote YES on this ballot referendum in November.

If this referendum is approved, it will limit how much the taxable value of a home would increase, year after year, to no more than four percent for any homeowner who applies for and receives the homestead exemption.
